I spent the last few days in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato– one of the most picturesque cities I’ve ever visited. The cobblestone roads, colorful buildings and bright gardens make you fall in love! Plus, it has an astonishing parish in the town center!
My favorite part about San Miguel de Allende, however, was seeing my cousin, Maria, after 10+ years! Maria lives in San Miguel with her husband and two sons. When I called to tell her I would be in town, she immediately asked that I stay with her. She welcomed me with open arms, and her family loved on me like they had known me forever.
Her son, Roberto, is the kindest little boy, and I had a ton of fun hanging out with him. He and I walked around town yesterday, and he showed me his favorite spots– the park, the ice cream stand and his school.
With a heart full of love and gratitude, I am now heading to Guanajuato, Guanajuato!
