The Bigelows were AWESOME. Avery Peak was a climb, but you end up on this awesome ridgeline. It was really foggy, so I couldn’t see very far, but the fog would literally roll over the top of the mountain with me on it! I got to stand there as a cloud went over me, and then the view would clear up for a few minutes, showing lakes and mountains for miles. Pretty wild, lots of fun.
The rest of the day was a loooonngg descent into Stratton. My legs feel great, but the back is still a bit sore, so I’ll take the day off tomorrow in town. There’s supposed to be a killer burger at the White Wolf Inn, so I’ll be heading there.
